Dr. Hunter Traver was born in Saginaw, Michigan. Growing up in northern Michigan taught him the simpler ways of life, from everything outdoors to sports, and hard work on the farm! From an early age Hunter was shown how to live an active and healthy lifestyle.
When figuring out what Dr. Traver wanted to do in life, Chiropractic wasn’t the first choice. He knew he wanted to help people, but it wasn’t until his aunt had a life-changing experience that set him down this path. This experience drove Hunter to want to provide the same opportunity to people in need, not just pain relief, but education about the body and how it functions on an anatomical and neurological level. Dr. Traver values healthy habits and conservative healthcare practices to reduce the need for surgery and drugs.
Dr Traver graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2025. His education provided him with a strong foundation in chiropractic technique and philosophy. He is trained in techniques like Gonstead, Diversified, and Thompson. Dr Traver also has a certification in physiotherapy.
While not working, Hunter loves to spend as much time as possible outdoors. He plans on taking up Juneau’s fishing opportunities every chance he gets, hiking and enjoying everything that Alaska has to offer.
