2016 Got a Spine Scholarship Winner

Kyla-Alexis Bailey is from Winnipeg, Manitoba and graduated from University of Winnipeg Collegiate in June. She will be entering the Bioanthropology program to study Forensic Science, while earning her Bachelor of Science Degree.

“Thank you so much for choosing me for this $500 scholarship. I am very grateful and plan to use this money towards my text books for my first year of university. My intent is to have no student loans so this will help in a tremendous way in achieving this goal. My goal is to work in a lab as a forensic scientist and to be a mentor other young females as they try to achieve their education and career goals.”
