Maria Tijerina-Burleson - DC

Dr. Maria Tijerina-Burleson graduated from Parker College of Chiropractic in December 2010. Originally from Texas, she moved to Dillingham, Alaska in 2011, where she practiced until 2017. She moved with her family to Kentucky for a residency opportunity before returning to Alaska in 2021, this time to Juneau.

Dr. Maria takes pride in getting to know her patients and their lifestyles to better prepare a treatment plan that is best suited for each patient in the office, at work, and at home. Dr. Maria uses various techniques, including: Diversified, Thompson, Activator, SOT, PNF stretching, and trigger point work. Whether you are looking for pain relief or preventative care, Dr. Maria is dedicated to helping you be your best self.

Outside the office, Dr. Maria enjoys sailing, hiking, renovating houses, and reaping the benefits of beekeeping.
